What Else is Alabama Hiding?

This question was asked after hearing about a withheld handwritten confession by a co-defendant in Dave Wilsons capital murder case," What else is Alabama hiding?"

In Toforest Johnson's capital murder case the State of Alabama withheld the fact that gave the prosecution's key witness $5000.00 for her testimony which ultimately sent Mr. Johnson to deathrow, Yet, the State refuses to make right it's wrong and grant Mr. Johnson a new trial despite the wishes of former prosecutor's, judges, AG's (etc.)......

In Mario Woodward's capital murder case, Woodward had to file a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) complaint to obtain undisclosed cell phone tracking information in his case. After a long 7 year process a D.C. court ruled in Woodwards favor after holding an in camera review of the documents. In the Court's order the

court stated. "The agency's "hide the ball" approach to FOIA is not consistent with its obligations under the statue and is unacceptable. The Court is left to wonder: what other representations made in this case and, perhaps, others may be equally misleading?"

It's nothing new to the men on death row that the State of Alabama and its officials will "hide the ball" in every instance to continue its Killing Spree.

In Christopher Barbour's capital murder case, they beat a confession out of him, and presented it as fact, while they hid the real facts. They had DNA evidence that, if disclosed, would have exonerated him. A federal district court judge granted Barbour's request for DNA testing and it exonerated all 3 defendants and pointed to the actual perpetrator, a person the family suspected all along. The state of Alabama continues to hold Christopher Barbour, an innocent man, in captivity under a sentence of death, despite DNA evidence proving his innocence.

David Wilson, who was convicted in the 2004 murder of Dewey Walker, has just recently been granted access by federal courts to the front page of a letter written by his co-defendant detailing her role in the killing, stating that she was the one that beat the victim until he fell, and it is evident from the contents of the front of the letter that there is more information on the back of the page, and the state has admitted that the undisclosed portions refer to criminal activity by the co-defendant. Mr. Wilson was convicted by a jury who was never told about this letter or the contents. Throughout Mr. Wilson's appeals officials from the Dothan County DA's office, along with the state Attorney General's office have failed to turn this letter over to the defense. There was a coordinated effort to hide this letter until Mr. Wilson's wrongful death at the hands of the state.

In Oklahoma, conservative representatives have stated and made clear that they will do everything within their power to end Oklahoma's death penalty if they execute Richard Glossip. Where are the justice minded conservatives in Alabama? Are they going to standby & let this, "all life is sacred" state continue to murder innocent & wrongfully convicted people?

To begin with these are facts, no form of execution is humane. Any person who says differently is outright lying. Another fact, killings or the taking of a person's life is torture, painful, horrific, and certainly unnecessary, whether it's criminal or state sanctioned.

I say that because I want the public to understand that wrong is wrong. No one is above the law well that's what we are all taught as children. As it stands now I am told or we were told wrong, misled. I say straight up lied to. If you are rich, in government on any level, or the relative of the aforementioned, you are exempt from any type of prosecution under the law. When it comes to the death penalty, there are no rich folks there are no relatives of government employees. I'm sure there have been killers among them but we're hushed and pushed out another way. That's not the purpose of this writing, the purpose or point I want to make is that in Alabama, folks in power say half truths and expect the public to believe and follow blindly. Executions in this state have been horrible, horrific, and downright unlawful. Whether it was by hanging, electrocution, lethal injection, or nitrogen, it's all about the finality, death. It appears that the higher courts do not care about the cruelty of these methods as long as the end result is achieved. That's not the reason for the death penalty. It is supposed to be a deterrent to violent crime, NOT. It was meant for the worst of the worst, it's NOT. It is designed to be a humane way of ending one's life, NOT. Those are the minimal things it's not. Just wanted you to get an idea. Some sit for 30 plus years waiting, anticipating, fighting, death. Hearing how the death squad has botched, burnt to a crisp, choked out, flat out tortured inmates to death. What's crazy is they, judicially speaking, expect juries to be death eligible to find inmates guilty of capital murder and granted death sentence. Why is this death squad not death eligible. These men and women are working around these inmates for years and I say that to point out that these folks have animosities, so is their chance to torture, mistreat, under the law. Their law.

Question yourself this, why are they taking so long to carry out sentences? Why does it cost so much more to carry out a death sentence? Why are the people voted in saying one thing and the witnesses have a totally different view of executions? Why the secrecy? If what you are doing is legit why hide it? Then you have the government secretly assassinating whistleblowers and anybody else that goes against the status of what they deem is RIGHT. We as a community cannot continue to stand or sit around watching, waiting for change. We must make changes in those offices where politicians are not doing what the people want. That's on the city, county, state, and federal levels of government.

I started out stating facts and have carried on with nothing but facts. Politicians will argue against these facts with good sounding lies. We are in a time of discord with one another, why is that? LIES!!! True it's each individual's right to believe what they want. It just boggles the mind to see so many adults believing such outrageous and blatant lies. Not believing factual truths backed up by actual visual facts. Is it racially motivated? Is it class motivated? Is it motivated by sexual bias? Is it power motivated? Is it fear motivated? The answer is yes to all these questions, because it is all that and more. Understanding that is critical at this point in time. Your future, our future depends on it. Not trying to convince you to vote or believe what I do. Asking you to choose wisely who you put in any political office. Freedom is at state, state by state and as a country.

Now they are killing with gas, something this country went to war to stop Hitler, in part, from doing. Here we are doing it again. Let that sit with you.
