The death penalty should be killed in the US by reason of the Constitution on cruel and unusual punishment. There is no humane way to take away life without it being cruel and unusual. ‘We’ a society needs to terminate the protocols and give “life, without” taking life. Alabama has carried out an execution by using a new protocol by using a new drug Midazolam. This drug was never tested to evaluate whether it creates an enormous amount of severe pain. Midazolam is ineffective as an anesthetic. A paralytic agent would cause an inmate to feel as if ‘he’ is being buried alive. The fact remains; the drugs used in lethal injections do cause pain and is inhumane, cruel and unusual punishment. The only protocol should be: Give “Life, without” taking life.

”Truth be Told!”

Truth be told, 

be bold, 

For the spoken word 

is more deadly than the sword, 

More powerful than a bullet, 

When it starts, 

it cuts to the very heart, 

and penetrates the soul 

leavin a hole.  

So be careful of what you say, 

or you’ll pay, 

because of the spoken word, 

truth be told, 

it shall be foretold, 

if your words get out of hand. 

don’t be bold, 

you may have to defend, 

your word of mouth, 

and end up in the skillet, 

all because of your word, 

going south,
